SHARON HUNTER is a recording artist and theatrical mainstay both in New York and other cities throughout the United States. She is celebrating the release of her CD, Play Me, a mix of rock and pop from the 1970's. These songs were written and sung by some of the greatest male artists of their generation. But now they are given fresh arrangements and a new sound with a woman's voice and sensual touch. These songs were part of Sharon's show "Play Me" performed in NYC in front of a live audience.

Her latest work is the new CD called "Play Me." This CD was inspired by her show of the same name that she performed at Don't Tell Mama and the Metropolitan Room in NYC in 2013 and 2014. "Play Me" is a collection of well-known songs written and performed by some of our greatest male artists. All the songs were from the classic pop and rock era of the 1970's. Now performed with a twist…a woman's interpretation. Through her eyes and her experiences, these songs touched her in a way that she could relate to. She performed all of these songs in her show, plus added a bonus song just for you. It features hits written by Neil Diamond, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Rod Stewart, Queen, The Eagles and many more.
